**How To Properly Label a MP3 (Industry Standards)**
Format: Artist - Title (Featured Artist) (Version)
Your name and title must be on your songs and not just in the tags or vice versa *It's Common Sense*... Professional Deejay's, Promoters, Radio Personnel, etc., Demand Industry Standards when accepting MP3 submissions!
e.g: Larry - My Song (Feat. Moe & Curly) (Clean)
The Producer may be included also at your discretion but if not in the Title then it should definitely be included within the Tagging...
**How To Properly Tag a MP3**
I want to start by saying that a Big Mistake that artist make is relying on software to automatically do the labeling and tagging for them, e.g. iTunes. Remember that all software will edit your MP3's the way the software itself wants it to and not necessarily the proper way e.g. iTunes...
With that being said, I will show you how to Properly Tag your MP3's with a simple Right Click...
Right Click on your MP3...
Now Click on the Summary Tab and Advanced if needed till you see this...
Now fill in the info in the proper places...
Now Click OK and your Done!
Remember Not to include Too Much Info in your Tagging. Also, This was done within Windows XP and may be slightly different on your system but Regardless of what OS you are working with, It will be Similar and the outcome will be the Same...
